Dr. Stocker comes from a family of doctors. Her grandfather was a psychiatrist. Her father is an orthopedic surgeon, and her husband is a cardiologist. She was born in New Orleans and grew up in San Antonio where she graduated from Churchill High School. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio. She was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and received the Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Citation for outstanding women medical students. She completed an Internal Medicine Internship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas and a Dermatology Residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

Dr. Stocker was in private practice in Dallas for 2 years before opening her own practice in 1999 in San Antonio. Dr. Sandercock inspired her to expand her cosmetic dermatology interests by opening Skin by Design Dermatology & Laser Center, P.A. in 2005.

Dr. Stocker has published several articles and made numerous presentations at dermatology meetings regarding general dermatology and laser medicine. She is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio. She is a member of:

Dr. Stocker enjoys running, swimming, cycling, sprint-distance triathlons, hiking, travel, and camping. She and her husband Eric also enjoy their 2 daughters and Kiwi their Chihuahua.
